A Storm on a Summer's Day

There's nothing like an afternoon storm on a hot summer day. I love sunshine as much as the next person, but I love when those dark clouds roll in and you can hear the deep sound of thunder in the distance. It's like an invitation to sit on the porch and simply watch the rain fall. A refreshing reprieve from the heat of the day. It's honestly one of my favorite things about summer. This piece is a reminder to embrace the storms of summer and find the peacefulness that can be found in a rainstorm.
