About Lauren

Lauren Kacmarcik is primarily a self-taught artist, though she took painting classes while obtaining a degree in Business. A lover of all forms of art, she has always had a desire to create whether it be painting, drawing, or design. Throughout school and while pursuing a corporate career, painting has always been an outlet. Over the years, making more time for creative passions was something she realized was missing and now seeks to create something each day.

Her inspiration comes from the coastal towns she has lived in North Carolina and Florida as well as from her love for interior design. Blending a mix of impressionistic and abstract styles, she explores the relationship of color and composition. While primarily painting in acrylics, she also enjoys experimenting with other mediums such as oils and oil pastel.

As a mother of two daughters, creativity has taken on a new meaning as she seeks to model to her own girls the importance of pursuing your passions and taking risks.  

Lauren hopes to spread light and joy through her art, a gift she knows comes from her Creator.
