Beauty in the Mundane

This piece is titled “Beauty in the Mundane” and is a reminder that there is beauty to be found in the day to day. While each day can feel monotonous - get kids ready for school, school drop-off, work, errands, cleaning, dance, soccer, cooking…you get the picture - this is where so many memories are formed. It’s in these seemingly unimportant daily tasks that we grow as an individual, as a mother, father, sister, brother, friend. All of these little tasks are still important. And if we’re being honest, tiny changes are happening every day. Our little ones are growing before our eyes. It may not feel like much is happening, but on this day next year things can look so much different. Our kids are a little taller, a little more independent. We have a few more wrinkles, more things on our plate, and our day to day may have even changed a little. Take a moment to appreciate the monotony. Here’s to finding a little beauty in the mundane.
